TV-out interface
A TV-out connection is implemented using N4700 mobile video digital encoder, which converts digital video
signals into high quality analog signal compliant with TV standards. Digital input video signal is CCIR656
interface from D4800 application IC. CCIR656 parallel interface uses 8 or 10 bits of multiplexed YCbCr data
and a 27MHz clock (specified in ITU-R BT.656-4 recommendation). Supply voltages are VIO_APE, VCORE_APE
and VAUX_APE from N4200 mixed-signal IC. For TV-out, the device supports composite (CVBS) video with
different TV-standards: PAL-BDGHI, PAL-N, PAL-Nc, PAL-M, NTSC-J, NTSC-M and NTSC-4.34. CVBS is a single video
signal containing all necessary information to reproduce a colour picture. The video signal is connected to
an external AV-connector pin 3. Switch N2001 is used to connect AV-connector pin 3 into TV-out, the same
pin is also used as a microphone line.
