Component Function
1 After Filter Filters unusable powder from the air before returning the air to
the spray area. Houses the exhaust fan and motor, cartridge
filters, and final filters. Refer to the Afterfilter manual for more
information.
2 Cyclones Reclaim usable powder and return it to the powder feed
center.
3 Canopy and Base Contains oversprayed powder while parts are being coated.
4 Manual Operator
Platforms
Allow operators to manually touch up parts either entering or
exiting the booth enclosure.
5 Powder Feed Center Supplies powder to the spray guns and recycles reclaimed
powder. Powder is contained within the feed center by exhaust
air from the afterfilter. Refer to the Spectrum Powder Feed
Center manual 1103292 for more information.
6 Gun Movers (Optional) In/Out Positioners (horizontal or vertical) and Oscillators or
Reciprocators. Positioners move guns in and out of the booth.
Oscillators move the guns up and down; stroke length is
manually adjustable. Reciprocators move guns up and down,
stroke length is programmable and can be varied with
workpiece size.
