Color Change Procedure
Operator A (Booth) Operator B (Feed Center)
Shut off the manual gun controller and hang up the guns. Close the man doors.
Fold back the Aerodeck closest to the entry end of
the booth, then close the part doors.
Turn OFF the Sieve, Virgin Transfer Pump, and
Reclaim Transfer Pump.
Blow off:
S part door seams
S man door seams
S gun slots
Wait for the internal gun purge and external gun
blow-offs to complete.
Disconnect the transfer hoses from the sieve deck
and feed the hose ends through the hose bracket
on the feed center wall.
Unclamp the sieve deck and turn the pan so that
the discharge chute points toward the exhaust
duct.
Turn ON the Sieve and Reclaim Transfer pump.
Turn ON the Color Change switch.
S The lance assembly moves up.
S Gun external blow-off starts.
S Color change light blinks once per second.
Turn OFF the Vibratory Table.
Turn OFF the fluidizing air. If using a feed hopper,
disconnect the fluidizing air tubing.
Remove the feed hopper or box from the feed
center.
Blow off the lance assembly and purge manifold.
When the external gun blow-off is done, the color
change indicator blinks twice per second.
Turn the Purge Select switch to the Internal Gun
Purge position.
S Lance moves down to the purge position.
S Purge clamp is engaged.
S Internal gun purge sequence starts.
When the internal gun purge is done, the color
change indicator blinks three times per second.
Guns are moved to full in position, then external
gun blow-off starts.
When the gun blow-off is complete, blow off the
duct door sills at the exit end of the booth.
Open the duct door and blow off the door sill and
the Aerodeck seams and hinges.
Turn the sieve OFF.
