Introduction
This section provides setup instructions for your Nordson representative.
The menus and screens used for setup are password protected.
New System Preparation
Canopy Conditioning
Before starting up the powder coating system for the first time, perform the
Initial Canopy Conditioning procedure in Maintenance. The inside surfaces
of the canopy must be clean, dry, and free of oils. A clean canopy prevents
powder from sticking, and allows for fast color changes.
Cartridge Filter Seasoning
New cartridge filters should be seasoned before beginning production.
Refer to the Cartridge Filter Seasoning procedure in the Repair section for
instructions.
