Alarm Messages
Use the following chart to identify and correct system alarms that appear on
the main system panel touch screen.
NOTE: Variable frequency drives (VFDs) are programmed by Nordson
application engineers. If the problem appears to be caused by a VFD,
contact your Nordson representative for help.
Alarm Message Cause Correction
Exhauster Start Fault (Remote
Start Enabled)
Exhauster motor not enabled Turn ON exhauster motor switch
at afterfilter control panel.
Exhauster motor VFD faulted Check exhauster motor Variable
Frequency Drive.
System Start Not Activated System not started Press System Start button on
main system panel.
Fire detection system faulted or
not on
Check fire detection system.
Fire Detector Alarm Fire detection system faulted or

Check VFD setting.
Clearing Alarms
When an alarm occurs, the Alarm Pop-Up displays the current alarm.
Correct the problem, then touch the Clear Alarm button on the pop-up to
clear it. If the problem is not corrected, the alarm will re-occur.
To acknowledge the alarm and resume system operation, touch the Alarm
Ack button on the Main Menu. The time, date, and alarm message will be
stored in the Alarm Log menu history. After you clear the alarm, you may
perform the necessary corrective actions.
