Final Filter Replacement
1. Shut down the powder coating system. Refer to Shutdown in the
Operation section for instructions. Shut off and lock out system
electrical power.
2. See Figure 7-2. Unscrew the clamping knobs (1) and filter brackets (2).
3. Lift the old final filters (3) out of the afterfilter.
4. Inspect the interior of the fan housing (4). If you see large amounts of
powder inside of the housing, powder is leaking through the cartridge
filters or mounting plate. Fix the leak before starting the system.
5. Remove the new final filters from their cartons and inspect them for
damage. Do not use damaged final filters.
6. Install the new final filters into the afterfilter.
7. Install the final filter brackets and clamping knobs.
8. Tighten the clamping knobs to compress the final filters evenly on all
four sides.
