2. INSTALLATION
2.1 INTRODUCTION
This chapter provides the information required for correct installation of the system by a specialized technician.
2.1.1 General warnings
This paragraph provides a number of warnings to be complied with for correct, safe use of the system.
• Before connecting the system to the mains, make sure that the voltage matches that of the system.
• Use the cord provided to connect the system to the mains.
• Do not install the system in dusty, damp environments or those affected by mechanical vibrations, close to
sources of heat or of strong electro-magnetic disturbances.
• Make sure that the cooling fan air intake is not obstructed.
• Do not clean the system with abrasive substances or solvents.
2.2 UNPACKING THE SYSTEM
The system is delivered in a single packaging containing the following components:
• Base module
• 2 Windows XP Operating System CDs (for machines with pre-installed Operating System).
• System driver on CD
• “Installation Guide” Manual
• Connection and power cords
