3.7 REPLACEMENT OF THE CD-ROM PLAYER
Removal of the CD-ROM player does not require disconnection of any cables as the player is connected
directly to the rear I/O board by a specific connector.
To remove the CD-ROM player, proceed as follows:
• Operating from underneath the base module, loosen screw A.
• Using an appropriate instrument (e.g. a slotted screwdriver), exert pressure on supporting bracket B in
order to free the CD-ROM C player from its guides.
WARNING! When releasing the CD-ROM player from its housing, use one hand to extract it from the
module in order to prevent the player dropping during the operation.
