Cannotturnontheunit
Makesurethatthepowercordisproperlypluggedintothewalloutlet.
Unplugthepowercordfromthewalloutlet,wait5secondsormore,then
plugitinagain.
Theunitturnsoffunexpectedly
TheAVreceiverwillautomaticallyenterstandbymodewhenAuto
StandbyorSleepTimerissetandlaunched.
Theprotectioncircuitmayhavebeenactivated.Ifthisisthecase,when
youturntheunitonagain,"AMPDiagMode"willappearonthemain
unit’sdisplay.Theunitwillthenenteramodethatdetectsabnormal
conditions.Ifnoproblemsaredetected,"AMPDiagMode"willdisappear
andtheunitwillreturntoanormalstate.If"CHECKSPWIRE"appears
onthedisplay,thespeakercablesmaybeshortcircuited.Turntheunit
off,andchecktoseeifthecablecoreofanyofthespeakercablesisin
contactwiththatofanotherspeakercableorwiththerearpanel.After
that,turntheunitonagain.If"NG"appears,unplugthepowercord
immediatelyandcontactyourOnkyodealer.
WARNING:Ifsmoke,smellorabnormalnoiseisproducedbytheunit,
unplugthepowercordfromthewalloutletimmediatelyandcontactthe
dealerorOnkyoSupport.
