5.2 Preventive maintenance / repair
The system Control 200 with installed sensors has been designed for low maintenance operation.
Extended quality measures in production, like incoming parts inspection on any component guarantee best
possible reliability
a) wetted parts
Periodical inspection within the scope of normal field maintenance is in most cases sufficient, as long as
the wetted materials have been chosen properly. Gasket should be replaced every 2 to 3 years at least.
Certain operational conditions may require more often replacements .
b) Cable
Cables do not show significant changes with its intended use. Consequently electrical testing is not
required on a regular base. Isolation faults at the terminals, due to moisture, oil or chemicals
permeation, were observed in rare cases. Check terminals visually for isolating coatings (surface
corrosion).
Cables should not be in or under water or even chemicals for longer periods.
c) Converter
The converter including all parts do not have any relevant aging and are also fully functional with varying
ambient temperatures due the built-in stabilization.
