This model has Flash memories IC6203 and IC6201 on CAM_SYS P.C.Board, Version upgrade procedures for
each Memory are shown below.

15-3. Version-up and Backup Procedures
15-3-1. Connection and Set-up
1. Turn OFF Camera recorder and PC.
2. Connect RS-232C cable between COM1 port of PC and 9P connector of Flash memory version-up tool.
3. Connect flat cable (Include the Flash memory version-up tool) to P6104 connector on CAM SYS P.C.Board.
NOTE:
When connect flat cable to P6104 connector on CAM SYS P.C.Board, please use with Extender
board (VFK1194).
4. Set SW201 [LOAD] (CAM SYS P.C.Board) to ON.
5. Turn ON Camera recorder and PC (MS-DOS *1 mode).
*1 : MS-DOS is the registered trademark of the Microsoft Corporation.
*2 : Flash Memory Version-up software (VFK1468A) isn’t assured for laptop PC.
