Cautions on Extender use
Although the following phenomenon arise when
Extender Board (VFK1498 or VFK1193) is used,
they are not the abnormalities of VTR. Please be
sure to remove the Extender Board in the case of a
performance check.
Board Phenomenon
Servo No Problem
AVMON 1. If the AVIO (AJ-YA93) has been
installed, the initialize may not be
performed correctly.
2. Video disturbance my appear in
the IEEE1394 EE mode.
DPROC Noise on the audio or video
disturbance my appear in the EE
mode.
AVIO No problem
SDI No problem

1. Extend the DPROC Board (F3) with the extender
board.
2. Turn ON the power switch, and place the VTR in
the “EJECT” mode.
3. Adjust VR1301 so that the DC voltage is in the
specification.
