Correcting Distortion in Pictures ([Reduce Rolling
Shutter])
When saving pictures, correct any distortion caused by the electronic
shutter (rolling shutter effect).

On the save confirmation screen in Step
4
on page 143, touch
[Reduce Rolling Shutter].

If there is no effect even after using correction, after a message is displayed
advising that there is no effect, the confirmation screen returns.

Check the correction result and then touch [Save].

To check the corrected and uncorrected versions of the picture, touch [Set/
Cancel].
0 The picture is saved in JPEG format ([FINE] picture quality).
0 The recording information (Exif information), such as the shutter speed,
aperture, and ISO sensitivity, is also saved with the picture that is saved.
0 The angle of view may become narrower if correction is performed.
0 The correction may appear unnatural due to the movement of subjects.
