f The [HDMI CEC] screen is displayed.
4) Press as to select [DEVICE

f The items will switch each time you press the button.
[DISABLE]
Disables the power link operation from the CEC-compatible device to the projector.
Select this item if you do not want the power status of the projector to react to the CEC-compatible device.
[POWER ON]
Enables power-on link operation.
While the projector is in standby, if the CEC-compatible device connected to the <HDMI IN 1> terminal, <HDMI
IN 2> terminal or Function Board is turned on, the projector turns on, starts projection, and switches to the
input that the linked CEC-compatible device is connected.
While the projector is in standby, if the CEC-compatible device starts playing, the projector turns on, starts
projection, and switches to the input that the linked CEC-compatible device is connected.
While the projector is turned on, if the CEC-compatible device starts playing, the projector switches to the input
that the CEC-compatible device is connected.
Power‑o󰀨 link control is disabled.
[POWER ON/OFF]
Enables power‑on link operation and power‑o󰀨 link operation.
While the projector is in standby, if the CEC-compatible device connected to the <HDMI IN 1> terminal, <HDMI
IN 2> terminal or Function Board is turned on, the projector turns on, starts projection, and switches to the
input that the CEC-compatible device is connected.
While the projector is in standby, if the CEC-compatible device starts playing, the projector turns on, starts
projection, and switches to the input that the CEC-compatible device is connected.
While the projector is turned on, if the CEC-compatible device starts playing, the projector switches to the input
that the CEC-compatible device is connected.
While the projector is turned on, if the CEC-compatible device connected to the <HDMI IN 1> terminal, <HDMI
IN 2> terminal or Function Board is turned o󰀨, the projector turns o󰀨 and enters standby mode.
The link operations are only available when the CEC-compatible device supports the respective operations.
Note
f The connected CEC-compatible device may not support the link operation described in the manual. Not all the operations of the CEC-
compatible device are guaranteed.
[INITIALIZE]
Return the various user data settings to the factory default settings.
1) Press as to select [INITIALIZE].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [SECURITY PASSWORD] screen is displayed.
3) Enter a security password and press the <ENTER> button.
f The [INITIALIZE] screen is displayed.
4) Press as to select an item to initialize.
[USER SETTINGS]
The user data to return to factory default settings can be selected arbitrarily.
The projector goes into the standby status after executing [INITIALIZE].
For details of operation, refer to “Initializing the settings by selecting the items” (x
page 188).
[REGISTERED SIGNAL ONLY]
Deletes all the signals registered in [SIGNAL LIST]. All the setting values saved for each registered
signal are also deleted.
[REGISTERED SIGNAL ONLY] cannot be set when the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu [STORE
TYPE] is set to [SHARED].
[NETWORK/E-MAIL ONLY]
The following items are initialized.
f All the setting items under the [NETWORK] menu
f All the setting items under [Web secure] of the web control screen (The information such as the
self‑signed certicate already generated in [Certicate] or the server certicate already installed will
not be deleted.)
f All the setting items under [Network menu] of the web control screen (The items of [Time zone],
[Date], and [Time] in [Adjust clock] do not return to the factory default settings.)
f The setting items of [Remote preview] of the web control screen (x page 223)
[USER IMAGE ONLY] Deletes the image registered as user image.
[UNIFORMITY ONLY]
Sets the setting of the [DISPLAY OPTION] menu [UNIFORMITY] to the factory default setting.
[FACTORY RESET]
Returns all the user data settings to the factory default settings. The projector goes into the standby
status after executing [FACTORY RESET].
f Proceed to Step 5) when anything other than [USER SETTINGS] is selected.
