Separate Sources Connections
Figure 17 shows how to connect separate external Motor and Control Power
sources to the terminal connector installed in the drive.
Note: You must remove the factory installed jumper wires to use separate
power sources. For more information on the jumpers, see Factory Installed
Jum
pers on page 19.

Multiple inputs (remove jumpers)
Connections
connect Motor Input Power L1, L2, Gnd
- and -
connect Control Input Power. C1, C2, Gnd
Warning — You must connect the drive’s protective conductor terminal, marked
with the earth symbol
, to a reliable system Protective Earth.
Warning — The drive’s connector strip terminals have hazardous voltages when
power is applied to the drive, and up to several minutes after power is removed.
Lower voltages may still be present for several minutes after power is removed.
During normal operation, these high voltage terminals must not be accessible to
the user.
