Opening/closing the presser bar
CAUTION
Always turn off the power and unplug the machine before
opening/closing the presser bar.

To open the presser bar

Turn the machine pulley until the needle is at the top of its
stroke.

Bring lever

down to open presser bar

To close the presser bar

Turn the machine pulley until the needle is at the top of its
stroke.

Bring lever

down to put presser bar

back.
Adjusting the presser foot pressure
The presser foot pressure should be as light as possible, yet
sufficient to feed the fabric correctly and provide the uniform stitch
formation.

Loosen nut

Adjust the presser foot pressure by turning
adjustment screw

After this adjustment is made, tighten nut
