w WARNING
• After adjusting the head restraint,
make sure it is securely locked by
pushing it down until locked. This
could prevent accidental movement
of the headrest, which could cause
serious injury.
• Do not drive the vehicle with the
headrest removed or improperly
adjusted. Headrest will provide
significant protection against
whiplash injury.
• Headrest are most effective when
closest to your head. A cushion on
the seatback is not recommended.
• Do not adjust the driver headrest
while driving. This could cause
loss control of the vehicle and an
accident.
• Do not insert the headrest in a
wrong direction. It will not lock if
it faces the opposite side.
Adjusting the height of the head restraints
(front seats)
Make sure that the head restraints are
adjusted so that the center of the head
restraint is closest to the top of your ears.
