START
The engine starts in this position. Release
the key after the engine has started. It will
automatically return to “ON” position.
For starting tips, see Section 10.
ON
The engine runs in this position.
CAUTION
Never leave the ignition switch in this
position while the engine is off. Failure to
observe this caution will cause the battery
to be totally discharged.
Push start system is a system that allows
you to start and stop the engine by simply
pushing and holding a button without having
to reach for your keys.
A smart key must be inside of the vehicle
to activate the system. The signal from the
smart entry will allow you to start the engine
with an engine start/stop button.
