5. Obtain a new reservoir tube O-ring. Coat the O-ring
with new shock oil. Reinstall reservoir tube and O-
ring. Torque to specification.
TORQUE
Reservoir Body:
10 ft-lbs (14 N·m)
6. Assemble the bearing cap. Coat a new bearing cap
O-ring

with new shock oil. Install into bearing cap.
7. Apply shock oil to a new U-cup seal

. Install the
seal as shown. The flat side of the seal faces out.
NOTICE
Use the rounded end of a ball point pen or marker to
push the U-cup seal into position.
8. Apply shock oil to a new wiper seal

. Install the
wiper seal as shown.
9. When assembled, the O-ring
