RECOMMENDED TIRE INFLATION
PRESSURE AT MAXIMUM COLD LOAD
The recommended tire inflation pressures are
given in the applicable documents supplied with
the vehicle. In addition, maximum cold tire
inflation pressures are listed on the Department
of Transport (DOT) certification plate, affixed on
the left wall near the driver’s seat.
CAUTION
These tire pressures are established in
accordance with the maximum allowable load
on each axle. A lower pressure is
recommended if the axle load is less than the
above specifications. Weigh vehicle fully
loaded and pressurize according to tire
manufacturer's recommendations. For non
standard tire and wheel specifications, see
Prevost tire pressure tabulation in "Coach
Final Record" or special specification chart
affixed next to the DOT certification plate.
WARNING
Special tire selection may lower maximum
allowable speed limit, even below posted
speed limit. For maximum safety, check with
tire manufacturer.
