Thus, when pub2is sending the message only the sub1, the sub3 can receive it.
16.4 Virtual COM > Modbus RTU over TCP (RS-485)
You need to setup Virtual COM as server to accept this kind of packets. TCP/UDP packet types are
both available. Please choose one. But UDP is more efficient while TCP is more stable. Port
number can be any value below 65535. Recommended port number is 6001.
Forthe industrial products, the Modbus protocol is the most popular industrial control protocol.
If the Modbus software/SCADA supported the Modbus RTU over TCP, the Virtual COM server
feature of router could handle it. You need to configure the RS-485(COM1) like the remote
management (serial settings, Virtual COM settings).
