The front seat has been designed so that the
cushion and squab covers.
including padding,
can be replaced
if
damaged. Although
it
would
not
normally
be
necessary to dismantle the seat
completely
full details are
as
follows
:
1 Remove
two
retaining washers, rivets and
spacers and disconnect front leg from seat
frame.
2 Disconnect adjuster lever from front leg by
removing retaining washer and rivet.
3 Remove retaining clips securing squab
cover to the seat frame and then
pull cover
up
over squab padding and frame.
4 To detach cushion cover first remove
retaining clips and then peel the cover flaps
from the seat frame. Remove padding.
5 The squab and cushion support springs can
then be removed,
if
necessary, by holding the
side
of
the frame, stretching the springs and
releasing the retaining clips.
6 Replace in reverse order taking note
of
the
following
points:
Before fitting the cushion padding and cover
clean all traces
of
adhesive from the frame.
Apply
Bostik 1 GA 516 adhesive,
or
equivalent,
to the cushion cover flaps. The cushion and

kept

as

In accordance
with
present regulations all Robin
vehicles have seat
belts fitted
to
both driver and
passenger seats, incorporating a single hand
type clasp.
If the seat belt shows signs
of
severe fraying,
having been
cut,
or
having been severely
stressed during
an
accident. the belt must be
replaced.

1 Remove

UN F
bolt
and lockwasher and
detach
lap strap belt mounting from floor.

Prise
plastic plug from shoulder strap
belt mounting. remove n
UNF
bolt
and
lockwasher. and detach seat belt.
3
Remove
~
UNF nut, complete
with
lockwasher and detach seat belt safety catch
and arm from drive shaft tunnel mounting.
4 Replace
in
reverse order.
