withdraw
R.H. fixing bolt
it
is
necessary to remove the
fuel tank (see
section P).

Swing the anti-roll bar link clamping
bracket rearwards and then remove leaf spring
from the
vehicle.

R~peat
operation for other side
if
necessary.

Replace in reverse order.
Damper
unit
To
remove
(see
Figure
1)
1 Remove i UN F
nut
and
bolt
securing
damper unit
to
chassis frame mounting.
2 Unscrew
i UNF
nut
and bolt complete
with
spacer and remove damper unit from rear
axle mounting bracket.

Replace in reverse order ensuring the damper
spacer is
located between damper and axle
mounting bracket.
Anti-roll
bar
To
remove
(see
Figure
1)
1 Remove

UNF nut complete
with
lockwasher and detach R.H. anti-roll bar link
from mounting bracket on top
of
leaf spring.
Repeat operation for L.H. link.
2 Unscrew four
-l
UNF sets screws, complete
with
lockwashers and remove the
two
anti-roll
bar fixing clamps and rubber bushes from the
chassis mounting brackets.
3 The
anti-roll bar complete
with
links, can
then
be
removed from the vehicle.
4 A /

UNF nut and lockwasher secure the
links to the anti-roll
bar.
5 Replace in reverse order.
Bump stop
A fixing stud is moulded into the
two
rubber
bump stops
which
are
secured
to
mounting
brackets on the chassis by
,S

UNF nuts and
lockwashers.
