4.1 SERVICE CALL CONDITIONS
There are 4 levels of service call conditions.
Level Definition Reset Procedure
A
To prevent damage to the machine, the main
machine cannot be operated until the SC has
been reset by a service representative (see
the note below).
Enter SP mode, and then turn
the power switch off and on.
B
SCs that disable only the features that use the
defective item. Although these SCs are not
shown to the user under normal conditions,
they are displayed on the operation panel only
when the defective feature is selected.
Turn the operation switch or
main switch off and on.
C
The SC history is updated. The machine can
be operated as usual.
The SC will not be displayed.
Only the SC history is
updated.
D
Turning the main switch off then on resets SCs
displayed on the operation panel. These are
re-displayed if the error occurs again.
Turn the operation switch off
and on.
SC Code Descriptions
If a problem concerns a circuit board, disconnect and reconnect the connectors and
then test the machine. Often a loose or disconnected harness is the cause of the
problem. Always do this before you decide to replace the PCB.
If a motor lock error occurs, check the mechanical load before you decide to
replace the motor or sensors.
When a Level “A” or “B” SC occurs while in an SP mode, the machine cannot
display the SC number. If this occurs, check the SC number after leaving the SP
mode.
