6.12.4 IMAGE TRANSFER AND PAPER SEPARATION
MECHANISM
When the registration clutch switches on to align the leading edge of the paper [A] with the
image on the drum [B], the transfer belt is [C] is away from the drum.
At the designated time after the main motor switches on, the transfer belt contact clutch
switches on and the transfer belt touches the drum at [D].
