• If the battery is replaced by the wrong type, there is a danger of explosion. Dispose of used
batteries according to the instructions.
1. Remove the SD card slot covers [A] and [B] ( ×1)
2. Insert the OCR module SD card in SD card slot 1 [A] or slot 2 [B].
3. Switch the power supply ON.
4. Press “Enter” in SP5-878-004 (Option Setup: OCR Dictionary).
The SD card ID is saved in the NVRAM, and the ID of the MFP is saved on the SD card. The MFP
and SD card are thereby linked.
