Operation
8.2.2 Leveling a Device with Manual Feet with Inclination Sensor
The inclination sensor detects inclines in the alignment of the device. If leveling is
necessary: The “Leveling” display flashes.
Procedure
t Press the “Leveling” button.
y The leveling process starts.
y The “RETRACT” display appears.
t Retract both rear leveling feet.
t Press the “Confirm” button on the keypad.
y The “Directional arrows” display and the “TURN” display appear in the operating
display for every leveling foot.
t Turn the front leveling feet in the direction indicated by the “Directional arrows”
display until the “Directional arrows” display disappears for both leveling feet.
y The “EXTEND” display appears.
t Screw out both rear leveling feet until they touch the setup surface.
y Press the “Confirm” button on the keypad.
8.3 Preparing Weighings
The device must be prepared before every weighing.
Requirements
The device is ready for use
NOTICE
Chemicals may damage the device or accessories!
Chemicals can attack the device or the connected accessories internally and
externally. This may damage the device and accessories.
t Use appropriate containers when weighing chemicals.
Procedure
t Level the device.
t Zero the device for calibration. To do so, press the [Zero] key.
t If the device cannot be zeroed: Remove the sample to be weighed and re-zero
the device.
t Calibrate the device.
