Fitting the intermediate gear
Tightening torques
1 Check that cylinder number 1 is close to
TDC. The markings on the camshaft gear
and crankshaft gear must point towards the
centre of the intermediate gear.
Bolts for intermediate gears 50 Nm + 60°

2 Fit the intermediate gear against the
camshaft gear and the crankshaft gear so
that the markings point towards each other.
3 Fit the second intermediate gear.
4 Tighten the bolts on the intermediate gears
to 50 Nm + 60°.
5 Fit the flywheel housing according to the
section Fitting the flywheel housing.
6 Fit the flywheel according to the section
Fitting the flywheel.
