Renewing the rear crankshaft seal
Special tools
1 Remove the flywheel according to the
section Removing the flywheel.
2 Remove the crankshaft seal using a
screwdriver. Take care not to scratch the
sealing surfaces on the crankshaft and the
flywheel housing. Alternatively a self-
tapping screw can be screwed into the
crankshaft seal so that the crankshaft seal
can be pulled out with a slide hammer.
