Checking and adjusting the valve clearance
Special tools
Check and adjust the valve clearance with the
engine cold. The intake valve clearance should be
0.45 mm and exhaust valve clearance 0.70 mm.
Adjusting may be carried out in one of two ways:
Alternative 1:
Set cylinder 1 exactly at TDC after the
compression stroke. Adjust the following valves:

Turn the crankshaft exactly one revolution.
Adjust the following valves:
