Renewing camshaft bearings
Special tools
1 Remove the camshaft according to section
Removing the camshaft.
2 Remove the camshaft blanking piece at the
front of the engine.
Note: Wipe around the edges and the bearing
seat surfaces around the old bearings to avoid
damaging the contact surfaces when fitting the
new bearings.
3 Wipe the bearing seat surfaces clean around
the old bearings.
