1 Clean the contact surface between the
setting ring (which is included in the
extension kit) and the top plane of the
cylinder block.
Note: It is important for the surface to be
cleaned thoroughly, otherwise the cylinder liner
seat may be cut to the wrong depth or may be
slanted.
2 Fit extension 588 672 on the cutter 587 512.
3 Set the depth of the extension to 206 mm.
