This model is similar to the separate management model with the difference that a web server is also run
on the data/video management.
Since there is only one default gateway, in this case pointing to the management network, clients
accessing the probe via the data/video interface need to be on the same subnet as the probe’s data/video
interface.

The principles shown in the previous examples also apply for IPv6 management. IPv4 and IPv6 can be
used simultaneously. In theory the probe’s web server can be accessed using four different IP addresses,
provided that the network architecture allows it.
6.17.6 Setup — VLANs
The VB220 probe supports a large number of VLAN interfaces. The VLAN interfaces can be associated
with any of the physical interfaces. Once enabled, these VLAN interfaces can be used for routing and
joining of multicasts.
