4.8.4 Set Echo mode (command ECHO)
In RS232C mode, the device echoes everything back to the user as standard. The Echo
function is automatically disabled in RS-485 mode. In the example below, the two
commands in Italics are typed by the user but not seen on the screen unless using local
echo.
Syntax:
ECHO [on/off]<cr
>
Example:
on = Echo on
off = Echo off
>echo on
