OpenCircuit/ShortCircuitSensorFaults–ErrorCodeA6(Diagnostics50…5A)
AnerrorcodeA6(diagnosticcode50…5A)meansthattheLMV5isconfiguredforacertaintype
ofsensor,butitisnotdetectingthatthesensorisconnected.Thismeansthataparameterin
theLMV5issetincorrectly,thewiringofthesensorisincorrect,orthesensorhasfailed.
Note:SomeofthefaultcodemessagesrefertoInput2orInput3.Input2isterminalX61
whichisusedforpressuresensors.Input3isterminalX62whichisusedforremotesetpoint
andmodulationsignals.
Checkthefollowing:
1. Ensurethattheparametersusedtoprogramtheanaloginputsaresetcorrectly:

SensorSelect
ExtInpX61U/I
ExtInpX62U/I
SeeSection3forinformationonhowtheseparametersshouldbeset.
2. Ifalloftheaboveparametersaresetcorrectly,checkthewiringoftheattachedsensors.
SeeSection2forinformationonhowtowiresensorstotheLMV5.
3. Onasteamboiler,atemperaturesensorcanbeusedinadditiontothepressuresensorfor
the cold start function.If this is the case,checkthesettingof parameter AdditionalSens.
SeeSection3formoreinformationonhowtosetthisparameter.
4. AnadditionalFGRtemperaturesensorcanbeinstalledtoperformanFGRholdfunction.If
parameter FGR‐Mode is set to “temperature”, “temp.contr.”, or “TCautoDeact”, an FGR
sensorisexpectedtobewiredintoterminalX60orX86,dependingonthesettingofFGR‐
sensor.IfthisparameterissettoX60,checkthatthesensoriswiredcorrectly.
5. IfO

trimisbeingused,anambientairtemperaturesensorcanbewiredintoterminalX60.
Check the setting of parameter AirTempX60PT1000.If this is set to activated, a Pt1000
temperaturesensorisexpectedtobewiredintoterminalX60.
