AZLSays“MeasurementnotSuccessful”WhenMeasuringtheDelayTimeforO2Trim
WhensettingthelowfirepointorthehighfirepointontheO
2
controlcurve,theAZLmeasures
whatiscalledthe“delaytime”(Tautime).Thedelaytimeisdefinedasthelengthoftimeit
takesachangeintheairdamperpositiontobedetectedbytheO
2
sensor.Thistimeislongerat
lowfireandshorterathighfireduetogasvelocity.Ifanerroroccurswhiletryingtomeasure
thisdelaytime,theAZLsays“MeasurementnotSuccessful”.
Totroubleshootthis,checkthefollowing:
1) VerifythatOptgModeissetto“mandeact”usingthefollowingmenupath:
Params&Display>O2Contr/Alarm>Gas/OilSettings>OptgMode
2) VerifythatLowfireAdaptPtNoissetto2(combustioncurvepoint2)orhigherifdesired.By
default,thisparameterissetto“X”(undefined).

3) Ifbothoftheaboveparametersaresetcorrectly,thenitispossiblethattheO

readingson

curve,theLMV5willpromptwiththemessage“WhenvaluestablecontinuewENTER”.
PressingENTERthensetsthe%O
2
fortheratiocontrolcurve.IfENTERispressedtooearly
beforetheO
2
valuehasstabilized,anon‐representativeO
2
valuewillbeenteredforthe
ratiocontrolcurve.Ifthisisthecase,gobackintotheO
2
controlcurveandateachpoint
waittogetastablereadingbeforepressingENTERtoensurethattheO
2
readingis
representativeofthecurrentairdamperposition.30‐60secondsisnottoolongtowait
oncethearrow(>)turnsintoacolon(:)indicatingthattheactuatorshavestoppedmoving.
