9.1 Terminal covers

The following steps are necessary for fitting the terminal covers on the 3KC4 and 3KC8
transfer switching equipment of current ratings 250 A to 630 A.
If bridging bars are used, mount them first.
● Main circuit is disconnected
● Transfer switching equipment is in the "Manual" position
● Bridging bars are mounted (if used)
● Accessories for the electronic module installed (3KC8 only)

1. Connect the terminal covers with each other depending on the number of poles.
2. Place the connected terminal covers in the draw-out assembly of the transfer switching
equipment.
When using bridging bars, only the terminal cover for the front may be used.
