9.4 Mounting spacers

Mounting spacers are available separately for current ratings 250 A to 630 A. These are
used to increase the space between the mounting rail and the cabinet rear panel or the
mounting frame by 10 mm.
They can also be used as a replacement for the mounting spacers already fitted to the
transfer switching equipment.

The scope of supply includes one set comprising 2 mounting spacers.

The following steps are necessary for fitting additional mounting spacers.
The mounting spacers must be attached before mounting the 3KC4 or 3KC8 transfer
switching equipment.
1. Insert the mounting spacer on a mounting spacer already fitted on the transfer switching
equipment until it audibly engages.
