EPLACING
AND
TIGHTENING
THE
BELTS
To replace the belt proceed as follows:
1) turn off the machine and pull out the plug.
2) remove the back metal panel (ch. 7.8, page 126).
3) remove the bottom plate (ch. 7.9, page 126).
4) loosen the 4 motor fixing screws (W).
• “Motor” belt
- loosen the 2 screws (W3) and remove the plate (W4).
- take the worn belt off the pulleys.
- fit the new belt onto the pulleys.
- tighten the 2 screws (W3) on the plate (W4).
• “Cutter” belt
- remove the motor belt.
- raise the safety shield.
- loosen the screw (W5).to remove the brush unit.
- loosen the 2 screws (W3) and remove the plate (W4).
- take the “motor” belt off the pulleys.
- take the worn “cutter” belt off the pulleys.
- fit the new belt onto the pulleys.
- fit the “motor” belt onto the pulleys.
- tighten the 2 screws (W3) on the plate (W4).
5) use the special plate (provided) and tighten the belt by turning the screw (W2).
6) tighten the 4 motor fixing screws (W).
7) replace the back metal panel and bottom plate.
