6.2.8 Bit height
ATTENTION: Only if the material setting is STEEL.
To cut a STEEL key blank (BIT OR DOUBLE BIT) the maximum height allowed is1500 (15 mm).
This option is used to alter this value and set a bit height above 1500.
Press ENTER: the display shows:
If the value of 1500 (15 mm) is exceeded (digited), when ENTER is pressed the display will show:
Press ENTER:
STOP = Cancel the operation and return to the Options menu.
ENTER = Confirm save the alteration.
6.2.9 Reading Check
Press ENTER: the display shows:
1 = Enables the bit check function at the end of the reading process.
0 = Disables the bit check function at the end of the reading process.
Setting 1 = function enabled, the machine software will check the reading and assess the possibility to make
a perfect copy of the key.
In the event of anomalies the display will show an error message (see errors 22-23, ch. 6.2.10.2, page 117)
Setting 0 = function disabled, the machine will not check the key reading. Keys reproduced in this way could
be different and not operational.
Max bit width for
steel keys = 1500
(1500 – 2400)
