Clamp: S100 A-B=
indicates the clamp (
S100
) into which the key must be fitted, and which jaws to use.
Stop 0 =
reference or point for positioning the key in the reading clamp.
5.6.1 Reading keys with centre stop (English type)

1) Open the fixed clamp (A) and the mobile clamp (B) by pressing on the grip lever.
2) Fit the key into the special groove (axis X1) taking the bit up against the fixed clamp (A).
ATTENTION: position the key so that the highest tooth is facing left, ensuring contact with the stop (0) on the
vertical side of the tooth.
3) Release the grip lever.
4) Place the mobile clamp (B) in position on the key stem at a minimum distance of 3 mm from the end of
the collar.
5) When the reading process is started the carriage takes the key into contact with the laser beam along the
path and in the direction indicated by the broken line.
6) At the end of the cycle see the message on the display in order to continue (see ch.5.6.2).
