When the machine is turned on, for a few seconds the display shows the internal software version and the
machine model:
Version
= this refers to the version of internal software that runs the machine functions. The figure changes
at every upgrade.
Vers DB
= this refers to the version of the data relating to the Systems/Locks entered. You may ask SILCA
to upgrade your machine database with any of the new systems on the market.

The WinTransfer program (see ch. 7.13, page 133) or the Silca Key Programs can be used to update the
machine program and data by means of a PC and serial port.
The first operation is to set the language for machine messages:
The main menu for the machine program then appears.

PERATING KEYS

Use the arrow keys [Up/Down] to position the pointer and choose the option by pressing the [ENTER] key,
or enter directly the key relating to the option number.
The symbol >> indicates the other items in the menu that can be accessed with the arrow key [Down].
