Function of the board
● Communication
– Via CAN with the DSA
– Via CAN with the DAK
– Via a serial interface with the DAT

● Supply:
– Of the DAK and DAT with 5 V
– Of the DAP with 5 V for the electronics circuit of the DAP
● Activation and evaluation of the instrument holders
● Activation of the solenoid valves for the instruments (MV block),
spray, chip blower, and driving air
● Control or evaluation of signals (F_CTRL, Chair_Stop)
Optional
● Activation of the solenoid valves for the purge function and water for
the ultrasonic handpiece
● Activation of the X-ray viewer
