Mast Chain Visual Inspection Section 5 – Procedures
3. Carefully lift mast section 3 evenly, just enough
so that chains are not in tension. Remove the
hardware securing the chain tensioner block
inside mast 4.

4. Lift the mast section up to a suitable working
height and remove the lower wear pads. Mark
location of each wear pad.

5. Lift mast section 3 up and away from the mast
column. Make sure the harnesses and the
control cable enclosure box are clear. Set the
mast section aside.
