Mast Chain Visual Inspection Section 5 – Procedures
NOTE
It is recommended that 2 lifting straps (or similar)
be attached evenly to mast section 1 for a
straight, even lift.

2. Remove the 4 clamps that secure the harnesses
to the mast base, then disconnect the two
harness plug connectors and the mast limit
switch harness.

3. Remove the rivets securing the power inlet at the
base of the mast. Disconnect the wires from it
and pull the harness through from the inside of
the base so that it is clear. (ANSI/CSA Only)

Disconnect the harness ground wire connected
to a mast mounting bolt at the base of the mast.
