Problem Causes and remedies
When you register a new de-
vice with the configuration wiz-
ard, the error message Connec-
tion failed appears.
A password other than the standard password 1111 or than the system pass-
word of the existing system may have been set for the new device.
Corrective measures:
• Temporarily change the system password of the existing system to the
password of the new SMA device (see Section17.3, page118).
After a Device replacement us-
ing the configuration wizard, the
current parameters are not dis-
played in the parameter list.
It is possible that the new parameters have not yet been transferred to SunnyPor-
tal.
Corrective measures:
• Call up the parameter list again later.
After Pairing, the new EEBus
device is not displayed in
SunnyPortal.
Pairing might have taken too long; the time window of 2 minutes was exceeded.
Corrective measures:
• Repeat the pairing of the load and SunnyHomeManager.
After Pairing, the new EEBus
device is not displayed in
SunnyPortal.
The SunnyHomeManager may have connected to another EEBus device.
Corrective measures:
• The new EEBus device can be identified by the serial number. Check the
serial numbers of the devices connected to the SunnyHomeManager in the
device management (see Section11.1, page50) and (see Section11.2,
page52).
• Repeat the pairing with the required load.
In the portal, not all LED lamps
that can be controlled by the
Sunny Home Manager are dis-
played in the drop-down list for
the status display in the AVM
FRITZ!Box Smart Home con-
trol area. I cannot select the LED
lamp I want.
The LED lamps are registered in the FRITZ!Box. There you can assign an individ-
ual name for each LED lamp. This is read out by the SunnyHomeManager and
displayed together with the specific identification number in the portal in the
AVM FRITZ!Box Smart Home control area.
You may have entered too many characters when naming the individual LED
lamps.
Corrective measures:
• Choose a short name for the naming of the LED lamps in the FRITZ!Box. Use
as few special characters as possible.
In the portal, the line Current
status display via: is not dis-
played in the AVM FRITZ!Box
Smart Home control area.
You may have exceeded the character length specified as the maximum when
registering the LED lamps.
Corrective measures:
• Choose a short name for the naming of the LED lamps in the FRITZ!Box. Use
as few special characters as possible.
