11.7.1 Resetting the SunnyHomeManager
A SunnyHomeManager must only be reset if it had been installed in another system previously.
Loss of data due to replacement or due to resetting to default settings
If the SunnyHomeManager is reset to the default settings, all data saved in the SunnyHomeManager will be
deleted. The data saved in SunnyPortal can be transmitted to the SunnyHomeManager after calling up the PV
system again in SunnyPortal. Devices that were paired to the SunnyHomeManager via EEBus have to be paired
again.
Reset to default setting
1. Hold down the reset button with a pointed object until the LEDs flash red. This can take from 2 to a maximum of 6
seconds.
Pressing down and holding the reset button for less than 2 seconds has no effect.
If the reset button is held down for longer than 6 seconds, the SunnyHomeManager is restarted (see
Section11.8, page68).
☑ The LEDs flash first green and then red.
2. As soon as the LEDs flash red, release the reset button.
☑ All data stored in the SunnyHomeManager is deleted and the SunnyHomeManager restarts.
11.7.2 Reassigning the SunnyHomeManager to the SunnyPortal System after
the Reset
If you have performed a complete reset of the SunnyHomeManager, you must reassign the SunnyHomeManager to
your SunnyHomeManager system in SunnyPortal. Otherwise, SunnyPortal will not accept any data from the
SunnyHomeManager.
