8 Detaching machine
8.1 Preparing detaching
1. Move the machine to a parking place with a level surface with
sucient bearing capacity.
WARNING: A folded in machine may overturn after being
parked on UNSUITABLE subsoil.
2.
Lower the stands. Ä See page 56
3. Completely lower the machine.
4. Secure the tractor and machine to prevent them from rolling away.
5. Prior to extended breaks or winter storage:
Clean and lubricate the machine.
8.2 Detaching the implement
Precondition:
Ä The implement has been prepared for detaching, see page 96
1. Relieve the top link.
2. Uncouple the headstock from the top link.
3. Disconnect the lower link of the tractor from the implement’s lower
link recess.
Follow the operating instructions of the tractor.
4. Drive the tractor about 40 cm away from the implement.
5. Depressurise the auxiliary control units of the hydraulic system.
WARNING: Hydraulic oil under pressure may squirt out of the
hydraulic hoses when they are disconnected.
6. Secure the tractor against rolling over.
7. Disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the tractor.
8. Slide protecting caps onto the hydraulic connections.
9. Hook the hydraulic hoses into the hose cabinet.
10. Disconnect the electrical lines from the tractor.
11. Position protecting caps on the plugs of the electric lines.
