6.3.6 Adjusting working depth of hoeing elements
Targets:
n All hoeing elements are set to the same depth.
n For full-surface cultivation, the knives
on the hoeing elements are 2...3 cm
duck-foot shares maximum 4 cm
beneath the topsoil.
Deeper cultivation promotes weed potential.
Preconditions:
n A level seedbed
n The row distance is adjusted correctly.
The working depth is adjusted via a screw with a crank on the depth
guiding wheel.
The user must measure the depth of the Basic-Element at two points on
the depth guiding wheel.

Undo the fastening screw

2. To change the depth adjustment of the element: Rotate the
crank

on the depth guiding wheel.
3. Measure the depth at two points, e.g. at the end of the spindle
tube

and on the wheel bracket

4. Tighten the fastening screw.
5. Adjust all depth guiding wheels to an identical depth.
