*For machines with an EU type-approval number, the permissible total
mass is equal to the sum of the permissible axle loads.
3.4 Headstock
The headstock has been designed according to standard ISO 730. The
headstock is used to connect the machine to the three-point linkage of
the tractor.
The approved options for connecting the machine to the tractor are
shown in the technical data Ä , see page 117.
3.5 Support wheels
Support wheels are required for heavy frames on the rear mounting
and front mounting. Depending on the size of the frame, 2 or more
support wheels are used.
The support wheels are mounted on the toolbar and support part of
the hoeing machine weight on the tractor. They ensure the required
ground clearance and prevent the hoeing machine from working too
deep.
Depth wheel variants:
n Support wheels with rubber tyres
n Stainless steel support wheels
n Track discs
Instead of the wheels or in addition to the wheels, track discs can be
used. Track discs prevent excessive lateral movement when driving on
hilly terrain.
